Girl meets boy.I've wanted this book since I first heard of it, and I even bought it once but didn't get it (I got my money back though.) It's still on my wishlist, because I haven't seen it at the Borders I always go to.

Girl gets boy back...
...sort of.

She starts visiting a website for "completers"- www.through-the-light.com.This sounds like an amazing book, and I've heard good things about it. I'm signed up to receive an ARC copy on tour but I still haven't gotten it and I still want it. I might just end up buying it :)
While she's on the site, Daelyn blogs about her life, uncovering a history of bullying that goes back to kindergarten. When she's not on the Web, Daelyn's at her private school, where she's known as the freak who doesn't talk.
Then, a boy named Santana begins to sit with her after school while she's waiting to for her parents to pick her up. Even though she's made it clear that she wants to be left alone, Santana won't give up. And it's too late for Daelyn to be letting people into her life. Isn't it?

ReplyDeleteI want to read both of those myself. Hate list on on my wish list. Our local bookstore never has it in and I haven't gotten around to ordering it online. Figure I already have a pile of books to read and when I'm ready to get to it, then I'll buy it.

Nice picks! I definitely want to try Lisa Schroeder's books, and By The Time You Read This I'll Be Dead sounds potentially good too. Both seem very thought-provoking, and I hope you can get your hands on them soon! :D
