Weekly Recap + book haul

Jul 15, 2012

Hello there! I hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday so far :) I had a mini-road trip with my family which was really nice. I visited the nicest used book store and that is mainly where all the books I got this week came from. I also got a little bit of reading done this past week, but failed at the read-a-thon I was planning on participating in. I was just a bit busy with work on those days.

+ Darklands by Nancy Holzner (For review - Penguin)
+ The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen (Bought)
+ Torment by Lauren Kate (Bought)

I wasn't expecting Darklands, but I got it in the mail, I guess because I participated in a previous Deadtown novel tour. I might read this in the near future; thanks Penguin! At the used bookstore (mentioned above) I picked up both The Truth About Forever and Torment for half off and they look brand new. I thought it was a great deal and couldn't miss out :)

I decided not to add a "reading this week" because...they are the same books as last week *sigh* I did read Boys Over Flowers, Volume 10, but I am also skipping "last week I read" because it doesn't seem significant enough to add.

So definitely a slow week in reading, blogging and just stuff. This week will be better. Happy reading everyone :)

  1. I have yet to read a Dessen book. I should really get on that, since I have a few on my to-read that sound amazing.

    Happy reading! :D
