My name is Cindy and this is my little corner on the internet. On most days, I am a reader and dreamer. I live in Southern California and yes, the weather is awesome all year long and we get tons of author events. I’m a quiet, awkward girl who doesn’t want to get old and expects a fairy tale ending. I cry at all the sad parts in movies but especially in books. I laugh at corny jokes, have a great poker face and avoid conversations with strangers. I watch too much television sometimes and would rather be sleeping.
I’m slowly working my way through this list of YA books, and this one too. Some of my favorite books include: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, Delirium by Lauren Oliver, the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, If I Stay by Gayle Forman, the Bridgertons series by Julia Quinn, The Host by Stephanie Meyer, The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa, Welcome to Temptation by Jennifer Crusie, The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl by Barry Lyga, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater and more. As you can tell, I am fond of Young Adult and Romance novels ♥
Likes: random acts of kindness | shopping | journals | the smell of fresh laundry | tattoos | nail polish | Disneyland| all kinds of lists | spending cold days snuggling | traveling | inspirational quotes
Dislikes: the color red | mean people | the word “hate” | hugs | leather interior cars
I started this blog in 2009 and though it has gone through many changes, the sole purpose of it is to keep track of the books I have read throughout the years and my thoughts on them. I used to call this a book review blog, but it’s really not. At least not anymore. I don’t analyze or criticize books. I rate them according to how they made me feel, but otherwise, my “reviews” are just my thoughts on how the characters were developed, if the story caught my attention or simply, how I felt while reading the book. I do not have this blog for advanced reader copies and if I accept any books for review, I cannot guarantee that I will post a review on it.
